A collection of questions I’m often asked. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for please use the contact page.
Where do you sell your dolls and illustrations?
When dolls, original illustrations or new art prints are ready for sale I put an alert in my Instagram stories together with a link to my Etsy shop. I don’t do commissions but happy to sometimes do a private sale.
I rarely have dolls available to browse in my shop because each piece is usually sold shortly after it’s completed. New work is released as it’s created, so following my Instagram page is the best way to catch updates on doll listings.
About dolls, prints, illustration and prices
Dolls are made by hand. I prefer and enjoy the process of hand stitching as it keeps me focused in a way I don’t quite get from running things up on my machine. Each doll project can take anything between 12-18 hours to make. The unique nature of how I work is taken into account when pricing as well as the cost of materials. Regular size is around 15 inches. They are art driven pieces and not intended for play.
Doll prices - £150 - £375
My Art Prints are professionally giclée printed using archival inks and papers.
Print prices - £20 - £25
I do sell original illustrations but not on a regular a basis. Again, when I have pieces for sale an alert will pop up in Instagram. I work quite traditionally using hot pressed watercolour paper, and acryla gouache from Holbein. I don’t use a lot of digital tools, apart from a bit of Photoshop to tidy up and size prep for printing.
Originals -£40 -£150
Do you take commissions?
Unfortunately I don’t take on small personal custom orders at the moment but I’m happy to discuss bigger scale projects and collaborations.
